I recently found out about this @kipling_sg collection with @getredressed designed by 23-year-old Beatrice Bocconi!!! ⭐️ Her entire collection is made out of deadstock, end-of-roll fabrics, and innovative recycled fabrics with circular design principles She was a finalist for the Redress Design Award???????? Redress is an environmental charity working to prevent and transform waste in the textile industry. The Redress Design Award is the world’s largest sustainable fashion design competition! The goal is to head towards a circular fashion system by educating emerging designers on sustainable design theories and techniques This is such a great initiative. The fashion industry doesn’t have to STOP creating (because let’s face it consumerism is real) but they can definitely be more aware of HOW they create. And this feels like a right step!
